President asks representing 'standardising' the Ayurvedic system
She has also asked to publish the detailed pharmacopoeia, a book describing the detail the properties, action, use, dosage, and standards of impact and purity of medicine with articles on their preparation and employ for plateful the common men as this means of medicine is not apart forceful in treating the disease but besides very cost effective.

The Ayurvedic medicine step has many advantages, which need to be brought out and made known to the people in a more active way. Ayurvedic products must establish their identity, as it is an affordable system championing the economically weaker group of society," said president.
She emphasised on popularising this system among Indians besides boosting the exports of Ayurveda products. For this, experts will gain to make more efforts to standardising the products and their patenting.
The publishing of Ayurveda pharmacopoeia will also delight the authority and scholars of Ayurveda that will pave the pathway of popularising this medicament system, as per head of the state cited.
Describing about her foreign visit to Brazil, Mexico and Chile last month, president said that during her discussions with the head there, she spoke about the Ayurvedic system of medicine and presented CDs with details. She told the superior about the characteristics of Ayurvedic medicines and its importance for common man.
The leaders of the hosting nations had appreciated her for her presenting and information about Ayurvedic medicines’, as president said in the released statement. The President has awarded Ayurveda scholar H S Kasture for the year 2003 and Suresh Kumar Chaturvedi for 2004 followed by Ayurveda scholar R H Singh for 2005, Mayaram Uniyal for 2006 and T L Devraj for 2007.
